Performing projects for the US Government in Afghanistan can be very challenging. Work is performed in a hostile involvement with significant mobilization costs. Project delays also translate into significant additional costs given the need to house laborers at the worksite. The US Government may not accept responsibility for these costly delays, and in some cases, may impose liquidated damages.
We understand the rules and regulations applicable to projects in Afghanistan. We leverage this understanding to obtain the best results for our clients. If a case cannot be settled with the US Government, we can represent the foreign contractor in the United States before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals or the Court of Federal Claims.
